The elderly need our love more than ever right now! They are not permitted visitors and their daily routines have changed. The Scholastic Jungle Book Fair is here!!
Come see the wonder of it all in the library.
The book fair is running from Monday, March 9th thru Friday, March 13th.
Swing on by with your LAL class or during your lunch period to the Media Center to make your purchases.

Rehearsals are held at the High School this week
Wednesday 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Friday 3:00 - 5:00 PM

Six Flags Trip money is due March 18th.

Student Council will be collecting travel size hygiene products for ARM.
Their mission is to provide health and hygiene services to those who need it.
ARM believes that no one should have to live without these basic necessities.
All products will be collected in your homeroom.
Student Council members will come around during homeroom to collect the items and tally the points.
The homeroom with the most points will be awarded the Spirit Trophy.
Collection will begin Wednesday, March 4th and end March 26th.
Let's step up and help others!!

Congratulations to the Sayreville Middle School's Odyssey of the Mind members!!
Over the weekend, the students competed in the Gateway Regional Tournament at the High School.
Problem #2: Networking and Problem #3: The effective Detective both received 3rd Place!!
Problem #5: Gibberish or Not received 1st place!!
Problem #5 will be advancing to the States Competition on April 4th.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2020-2021 Talented and Gifted Program.
If you would like your child, currently in grades 6 and 7, to be considered for the TAG Program, please complete
the electronic Parent Nomination Form and submit it before 11:00 PM on February 28th.
Students currently in the TAG Program in grades 6 and 7 do not need to reapply.

  • Holiday/Winter Door Decorating Contest For the month of December, we will be doing a door decorating contest consisting of holiday/winter themes with the students. Students must partake in the decorating. Glass portion of windows should not be covered. Decorating cannot take place during instructional time - only during homeroom and lunch periods.

  • Arctic Adventure Book Fair- Take a trip to the Arctic, but don't forget to brrrrrring money! The Arctic Adventure Book Fair is here at the Sayreville Middle School from Decemberrrr 9th thru Decemberrrr 13th. We have great books and goodies for sale. There is something for everyone. Make a purchase and you get a chance at our raffle. It will be an Arctic Adventure. Come by during lunches and check us out because reading is snoooow much fun. Have an ice day!

  • Artic Adventure Book FairTake a trip to the Artic, but don't forget to brrrrrring money! The Artic Adventure Book Fair is here at the Sayreville Middle School starting today, Monday. Decemberrrr 9th thru Decemberrrr 13th. It's the perfect time to pick up a copy of the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid  book: "Wrecking Ball". They also have  The Stranger Things book: "The Other Side". It's a must have, and the book "Riverdale". Make sure to be prepared for adventure at the Artic Book Fair! Slide on by during your lunch period and with your LAL class!
